The Origins Of Waldorf Education

Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher and scientist, was approached in 1919 to establish a school and a system of learning for the children of the Waldorf factory in Stuttgart, Germany. He drew up a curriculum which has since been the inspiration for the global network of Steiner Waldorf Schools, backed up by specialist teacher-training provision
