Handwork

Handwork is an important part of the curriculum for boys and girls in every class. From the very beginning the children are encouraged to appreciate the beauty and usefulness of materials, whether they are making bags for their recorders or woollen balls for games. From Class Five onwards the children make toys for others – for example soft dolls and animals for the Kindergarten – as well as clothing for themselves.
